The Institute of Cosmetic Surgery Featuring Dr. Lorne M. Tarshis, M.D.

Over the years, we have helped thousands of people just like you. The Institute of Cosmetic Surgery has been providing Canadians with a full range of plastic surgery options since 1978.

Whether you’re considering cosmetic surgery to improve your appearance or reconstructive surgery to correct a defect or improve function, choosing to have plastic surgery is an important decision that is not made lightly.

Why plastic surgery....

This year, more than two million North Americans will improve the way they look and feel through plastic surgery: men and women, young and old, people from all walks of life who want to make a change for the better.

Many of our clients at the Institute of Cosmetic Surgery report that plastic surgery has allowed them to look more like they feel like they should look. The first thing that many people notice after plastic surgery is that their faces or bodies seem more proportional or balanced.

Whether a person chooses to undergo plastic surgery to improve their lifestyle or to improve their look there will always be emotional benefits when a person is finally able to feel comfortable in their body. Many people find that they are more outgoing, personable and confident when they become accustomed to their transformation and this heightened sense of self-esteem can be a benefit that lasts a lifetime.

Once you’ve made the decision to improve your appearance, your next major decision will be to choose the right surgeon for you.

Choosing a plastic surgeon....
